Magic Paste
Magic Paste (/dispatch/intake) turns unstructured lead text into a draft job you can review before it hits the board.
How to use it
Section titled “How to use it”- Open Dispatch → Magic Paste (or the Magic Paste button on the board toolbar).
- Paste email body, text thread, or notes — addresses, tree species, scope, etc.
- Submit — ArborBuddy calls the
intake-parseedge function. - Review the draft in the Review queue before approving.
What the AI extracts
Section titled “What the AI extracts”- Customer and property details (when present in the paste)
- Job type and estimated hours
- Scheduling hints — unclear dates may land in backlog with a warning
Rate limits
Section titled “Rate limits”Intake is rate-limited per company to prevent abuse. If you hit the limit, wait a minute and retry.
Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”Customer PII is stripped before LLM processing where possible. Never paste full credit card numbers or SSNs — ArborBuddy blocks known sensitive patterns.
