Upgrade & billing portal
Upgrade from the app
Section titled “Upgrade from the app”- Sign in at app.arborbuddy.com.
- Go to Settings → Billing.
- Choose Foreman, Autopilot, or the plan shown in your Plan Picker.
- Stripe Checkout opens in a new secure session.
- After payment, your tier updates via webhook — refresh if UI lags (usually instant).
Checkout always uses the stripe-checkout edge function — never enter card details inside ArborBuddy directly.
Manage existing subscription
Section titled “Manage existing subscription”Paid customers use Manage Fleet Access (Stripe Customer Portal) from the billing page to:
- Update payment method
- View invoices
- Change plan (where enabled)
Portal sessions are created by the stripe-portal edge function.
Support with context
Section titled “Support with context”When emailing support, include your Account ID from the billing page — copy button pre-fills a mailto to [email protected].
Cancellation
Section titled “Cancellation”Contact support for cancellation today. Self-serve cancellation flow is coming soon.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”| Issue | What to try |
|---|---|
| Tier didn’t update after payment | Refresh the app; check spam for Stripe receipt |
| No Stripe customer found | Complete checkout once — portal requires a customer record |
| Wrong plan charged | Email support with Stripe receipt + Account ID |
